accesso ShoWare Center invites guests with special needs to share in the excitement of our sports and entertainment venue. We recognize the needs of guests with disabilities, as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) of 1990, and continue to make every effort to comply with State and Federal accessibility regulations and accommodate guests with disabilities. The arena has been carefully designed to meet the needs of our guests with disabilities. However, if you have comments, questions or suggestions, please contact the accesso ShoWare Center via e-mail at guestservice@accessoshowarecenter.com or by phone 253-856-6777.

Here are services designed to ensure your enjoyment:

Easy Access: Convenient ground-level access to accesso ShoWare Center is available at the south entrance, where patrons can use an elevator to top of seating bowl if necessary.

Parking: There are accessible parking spaces for our guests with disabilities on both the East and West side of the arena. Vehicles legally using disabled license plates or window cards are permitted to park in these designated spaces.

Tickets: For your convenience, accessible ticket windows are located on the south end of the arena, both inside and out. accesso ShoWare Center recommends that guests with disabilities purchase their tickets in advance to obtain desired seat locations. Wheelchair seats that are not purchased during an advanced sale period (which may vary depending upon the event) may be released for sale to the general public. Questions regarding disabled seating and wheelchair accessibility can be directed to the Ticket Office as follows: Voice: (253) 856-6999;

Ticket Office Hours : Monday, Wednesday and Friday 10:00 AM -2:00 PM; Closed Saturday / Sunday. Opens at Noon on event days. Please call (253) 856-6999. Group Sales - When purchasing group tickets, please specify your interest in accessible seating.

Elevator: A public elevator is available at the southwest corner of the arena for those with suite tickets or seating in The Club.

Assisted Listening Devices: Headsets and receivers for our FM hearing assistance system are available, at no charge, at the Guest Services desk.

Attendant Policy:
Government-funded Personal Care Attendants (PCAs) whose attendance is required for ticketed guests with severe accessibility restrictions may receive complimentary admission to accesso ShoWare Center events. Subject to availability, PCAs will be provided a seat or alternate location in proximity to the guest. The PCA must not participate in services or attractions apart from the guest who requires assistance from the PCA.

All requests for PCA admission must be made through the Box Office via email – tickets@accessoShoWareCenter.com or by phone at 253-856-6777 Option 2.

Should the guest or PCA misrepresent the purpose of the tickets, including PCA’s attendance or that the PCA has acted as a guest rather than performing the functions of a PCA while at an accesso ShoWare Center event, the arena reserves the right to eject both the PCA and guest from the event and may lead to revocation of future ticket privileges.

Interpreting Services: Guests who require interpreting services for arena events must contact the facility within two weeks of the scheduled event by calling 253-856-6777 or guestservice@accessoshowarecenter.com.
Service Animals: Service animals who have been trained to provide a particular service are permitted within the accesso ShoWare Center, please notify us at the time of your ticket purchase. Pets and comfort animals are not allowed inside the arena.

Emergency Evacuation Procedures: Designated accesso ShoWare Center ushers and other personnel have been trained in proper procedures for emergency preparedness. These designated staff members will have the primary duty of assisting guests with disabilities to specific locations.

First Aid: Guests in need of First Aid should inform the closest usher. The First Aid Office is in the northwest corner of the arena, outside Section 112.

Restrooms: All public restrooms are accessible to our guests with disabilities.

Concession Stands: All concession stands are accessible at accesso ShoWare Center. If guests with disabilities require assistance at any service area, please notify the nearest staff member.

Comments, Questions and Suggestions: For our guests with disabilities, your enjoyment of accesso ShoWare Center is an ongoing commitment. No alcohol or any illegal substances may be brought into accesso ShoWare Center, nor consumed in any of the local parking lots. Violators will be cited by Kent Police and are subject to significant fines. Alcoholic beverages can be purchased by persons 21 years of age or older with legal identification inside accesso ShoWare Center. accesso ShoWare Center reserves the right to evict an underage guest who is observed to be drinking alcohol or to any guest who appears to be intoxicated. accesso ShoWare Center also reserves the right to deny entrance to an intoxicated guest.

Alcohol Sales at Concerts and Other Events:
All alcohol sales will cease prior to end of event at management discretion.

Alcohol Sales at Thunderbird Games:
Alcoholic beverages are sold until the start of the third period. This policy is subject to change based on management discretion.

accesso ShoWare Center allows Service Animals. These service animals must be trained to perform a specific function to assist guests and must remain on a leash or harness at all times.

Hand held signs and banners are allowed if they do not exceed 11"x17" and do not block the view of guests or sponsorship, directional or emergency signage. Additionally, signs or banners may not be affixed to any poles or sticks, and they also may not be tied, taped or hung from any part of the facility. Any signage must meet the approval of venue management.

Starting September 1, 2021, accesso ShoWare Center will be a cashless venue. accesso ShoWare Center will no longer accept cash, and will only accepting credit cards for food & beverage transactions.

All guests are subject to a bag search and security check without exception. Security checks can include wanding, metal detectors and pat-downs.

Guests should plan on passing through a check process and figure it into arrival times for events.

Clear bags no larger than 12" x 12" x 6" are allowed. One gallon clear plastic Ziploc bags are also allowed.
Small clutches no larger than 4.5" x 6.5" are allowed.

Security must be able to see inside and identify items to the bottom of the bag. Items may not be used to obscure the view of bag contents, including but not limited to non-clear bags, pouches, etc. Bags with interior contents obscured from view are not allowed.

Backpacks, multi-compartment bags, duffle bags and purses larger than 4.5"x 6.5" are not allowed.

Exceptions will be made for medically necessary items or single compartment diaper bags (a child must be present).

There are bicycle racks at accesso ShoWare Center on both the east and west sides of building.

Cameras with professional/interchangeable lenses greater than 3 inches in length will not be permitted, nor will monopods, tripods or flash. Audio and video recording are always strictly prohibited unless approved by the artist or event.

accesso ShoWare Center reserves the right to examine and prohibit the use of any camera that conflicts with the policy set by the event. To confirm specific policies in advance, visit the event page you’re attending, email us, or call 253-856-6777.

Single compartment diaper bags will be allowed into accesso ShoWare Center (with a child present).

A public elevator, located at the southwest corner of the arena, provides access to the suites and The Club.

Family Restrooms are located on the North end of the concourses (both East and West side), as well as the Northwest corner of the Club level.

The First Aid Station is located on the main concourse outside Section 112. Trained medical personnel are on staff for most accesso ShoWare Center events and are available to guests and employees needing assistance.

accesso ShoWare Center will accommodate peaceful demonstration from non-for-profit organizations in designated free speech zones as allowed by the First Amendement US Constitution. The Policy and Registration Form is at the bottom of the A - Z Guide.

Guests may not bring food and/or beverage items into the arena during events. Guests with specific/special dietary needs due to medical conditions or religious requirements can email Guest Services to discuss food options available.

The Lost and Found is located at the Guest Services Desk. Any items found before or after an event will be turned into the security office. Items will be held for 30 days.

For the safety and enjoyment of all guests, masks, other than PPE, may not be worn while in attendance at any accesso ShoWare Center event.

Over 1,500 FREE PARKING spots available within walking distance to accesso ShoWare Center.

RESERVED PARKING is available in the Doxon Toyota VIP Lot near the Suites & The Club entrance on SW corner is available.

Guests, excluding law enforcement personnel, are prohibited from bringing weapons into accesso ShoWare Center. Weapons include, but are not limited to, firearms, explosives, handcuffs, batons, stun guns, knives, tear gas and pepper spray. Guests with these items will not be allowed in the building and, if already in the building, will be required to take the item from the building or be evicted. For safety reasons, guests are refused entry if they are in possession of prohibited items. Illegal items will be confiscated and turned over to the police. If a guest is found inside the venue with a prohibited item, the item will be confiscated and the guest may be ejected from the facility. Guests with specific or special dietary needs due to medical conditions or religious requirements should contact Guest Services prior to arrival at the event.

The following items are not permitted:

Aerosol Cans
Animals/Pets (except service animals. See section "ADA Access" for more details)
Audio/Video Recording Equipment (See section "Camera and Audio/Visual Recorders" for more information)
Balloons, Beach Balls or Related Items
Battery operated clothing or blankets
Cans, Bottles, Glass or Other Beverage Containers (empty plastic water bottles are allowed)
Chains, Studded Bracelets, etc.
Coolers or Ice Chests
Illegal Drugs and/or paraphernalia (includes marijuana)
Large Bags (max. size 12" x 12" x 6"), backpacks, duffel bags, suitcases
Laptops & Tablets and Portable Video Game Consoles (Switch, Vita etc.)
Laser Pens and Pointers
Noisemaking Devices (i.e. whistles, air horns, cymbals, bugles, drums and horns)
Outside Food, Beverage, Bottled Water, etc.
Professional Photography Equipment
Poles/Sticks to Display Flags, Banners, etc.
Skateboards, Rollerblades, Bikes, etc.
Unapproved pamphlets, fliers, handbills, etc.
Weapons of any kind (i.e. pepper spray, tear gas, handcuffs, stun guns, etc.)
Any Other Item deemed inappropriate or dangerous by the venue in its sole discretion

accesso ShoWare Center has a "no re-entry" policy during all events.

The distribution, selling or sampling of merchandise, pamphlets, food, beverages or other items on the property without written venue authorization is strictly prohibited.

accesso ShoWare Center conducts visual and bag security checks at every event. Higher levels of security checks including pat-downs, hand-wanding and the use of metal detectors are done at the discretion of management for other events.

Bags that are allowed:
- Clear bags that are 12" x 12" x 6" or smaller
- Clutches that are 4" x 6" or smaller
Anything over this size, with the exception of diaper bags (see Diaper Bags in the A-Z Guide), is not allowed. There is no locker storage.

accesso ShoWare Center will be discontinuing the use of the exterior smoking section and guests will no longer be permitted to leave the building and re-enter in order to smoke.

Strollers are allowed in the venue, but will need to be checked-in at Guest Services.

accesso ShoWare Center does not permit Laptops, Tablets, or portable video game consoles such as a Nintendo Switch or PlayStation Vita. This policy will be strictly enforced and management reserves the right to deny any device at their discretion.

Tailgating in lots surrounding accesso ShoWare Center is prohibited per Kent City Ordinance. Violators will be cited and fined for having an open BBQ flame or open container of alcohol. Tailgating, trailer homes, motor coaches, overnight parking and related activity is strictly prohibited. All vehicles must park within the dimensions of a designated parking space. All vehicles must exit the parking lots within two hours of the conclusion of the event or they will be towed at the expense of the owner.

The resale of tickets ("scalping") is not permitted in and around accesso ShoWare Center. Violators are subject to fine and confiscation of goods and cash. Tickets may not be resold for any amount, including below face value.

Anyone trespassing on the playing surface at games will be evicted and subject to arrest and prosecution in accordance with local ordinances.

Umbrellas will be allowed into accesso ShoWare Center, but must be stored in your clear bag ( no larger than 12" x 12" x 6") while in the venue.
